Thank you to all who participated!

I can't believe how fast these 31 days have flown by.  I would love to continue this conversation in books with all my new 31 Days friends.  So, to extend the fun, I'm doing a BOOK CRUSH GIVEAWAY.

Anything Oliver Jeffers.

And anything Mac Barnett -- especially Extra Yarn and Mustache!

To refresh your memory, here are the links to 31 Days of sappy children's book crushes:

Any of these are up for grabs!  I can't wait to see which one the winner chooses.

How do I enter? you ask:

  1. Oooh, Pick Me! :)
I'm already a follower via email and I have LOVED your 31 Days series. It was by far my favorite of all those I was following along with.
I would love to own more of Oliver Jeffers books. Since you've introduced me to them I've developed a serious crush of my own! I found The Great Paper Caper at a local thrift store in pristine condition and I was literally jumping up and down with excitement. :) So I think I would most like to own The Incredible Book-Eating Boy.
Thanks for such a fantastic month. I've loved every second of it.

    1. Wow! What a find! I feel like jumping up and down for you. ;-) Thank you so much for joining in on the series. I love your blog too -- so many awesome ideas. I'm going to go through and pick some do with my boys when my schedule dies down a bit. I think the crystals and the mini volcanoes are right up our alley.

  3. Pick Me! I've enjoyed your 31 day series, learning about books I wasn't familiar with. I think my favorite picture book is Kiss Goodnight Sam by Amy Hest. It was one we came across at the library and I just love reading it to my daughter. Also, days after you talked about Press Here, we saw that at our library and I snatched it up knowing it was going to be a fun one!

    1. Hi Lori! Thanks for sharing your favorite book. I don't know that one. Does it have a raccoon on the cover? I'll have to look for it. We have a library trip planned today. I'm glad you and your daughter enjoyed Press Here!

  4. I hope your able to find it at your library! It has two bears on the cover. The illustrations are beautiful, the words flow nicely to make for a great read aloud. And the story captures little kids and bedtime so nicely.

My favorite picture book is actually a board book - "But Not the Hippopotamus" by Sandra Boynton (LOVE Boynton!).

    1. Oh, my daughters adored that book when they were small. We went through several of them during the teething/destructive years. So, so cute.

    2. Hi Katy! My boys love Boynton too. The Going-to-Bed Book is --by far-- the most-read book in our house. We all have it memorized. My youngest has made up a whole extra dialogue that goes on between the animals.

  8. Pick me! My favorite day this month was the day you shared about your fall favorites. My almost five year old girl has already enjoyed Apple Farmer Annie, Leaf Man, and Look What I Did with a Leaf from the library. They were such great suggestions. Thank you for the chance at another book for her and her brother to enjoy. :-)

    1. I'm so glad that you guys had fun with the leaf books! Making leaf projects after reading those two books made for one of my favorite fall days last year.

Also, keep your eye out, I'll be posting a few more booklists in the next few weeks. I'm working on three of them. One for Thanksgiving, one for Christmas and one for Winter. I LOVE compiling our favorites!
