25: Friday Freebie - GREAT BOOK GIVEWAY!

***Update:  This contest is now closed.  Thank you to all who entered!  {Click here} to see who won! ***

Today I am so excited.  You know book recommendation are my favorite gifts.  Well, today, I get to do one better:  I am giving one lucky person a book of their choice!

__________________________
The Prize:  One novel of your choosing; choose any novel I've mentioned during this 31 Days series.  Or if you can't decide, I'll gladly choose one for you.  =)
How to enter:  To enter the drawing, follow this blog.  Either Subscribe to the Feed, Like on Facebook, or Follow on Google or Blogger.  Then leave a comment to let me know.   If you are already a follower (yay!), you're the best -- just leave me a comment about that too.
Additional entries:  You will earn an additional entry for every mention of this giveaway on social media (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.)  Make sure you let me know in the comments where you've shouted out.
For fun:  Give me a great book recommendation.
Closing time:  The contest will close October 31st, at 12:00 a.m. EST.  Winner will be announced the first week of November.
Having trouble commenting?  Several people have mentioned that they are having trouble leaving a comment.  Since I'm not tech savvy enough to fix that problem today, if that's you, just leave me a note on my Facebook page, or {here} and I will enter you manually.  Thanks so much - I have appreciated your company on this 31 Day journey!

  1. Well...I guess you already know I'm a follower/stalker. ;)
And my recommendation is the series I mentioned the other day by Susan Beth Pfeffer. I read all four of them, but I'm not sure what I thought about the last two. I liked the first two.
    Also the Chemical Garden books.

    1. Thanks for the stalking and the recommendations!!!
I have the first Chemical Garden on my hold list since you mentioned it. I still need to add the Pfeffer one. First I have to figure out the order!

  2. Here's the order they were written: Life As We Knew It, The Dead And The Gone, This World We Live In, Shade of the Moon. You could read either Life As We Knew it or The Dead and the Gone first since they record the same events from different characters perspective.

    1. Thank you sooo much! That will save me some digging time. Same story from two perspectives sounds really intriguing - looking forward to it.

    1. Hi Ashley! Thank for hanging around; hopefully this year I'll do more consistent post updating. =)

Good choice on Anna and the French Kiss. There are companion books to that one too, which is always fun.

  4. Hello,
I found your blog through the 31 days series. I immediately started following you on Facebook. I love YA, and I always felt like a weirdo because I felt like I was reading "down" so to speak. Great blog. I now have a whole new set of books I can't wait to read thanks to you. I am currently reading This is what happy looks like by Jennifer E Smith. I really like her work. This is her second book I have read!

    1. Hi April! So glad that you found me. I love finding fellow booklovers - especially ones who gravitate to the same genres I do. I really liked The Statistical Possibility of Love at First Sight by Jennifer E. Smith. In fact, it would have been yesterdays's True Love Tuesday post, but got bumped by Where She Went. =)

Shelley, every time I try to comment on your blog it never shows up!!! Ugh. I wanted to enter your contest! I would totally want you to surprise me if I won! I wanted to recommend Chains by Laurie Halse Anderson! Historical fiction. Amazing. Her new one sounds pretty intriguing too...the impossible Knife of Memory. Also, I follow you on my blog (which I haven't been on in forever) and of course FB. I will share your contest on FB today:). And btw, this book sounds amazing! I'm sure I could use it for my mouth!!!
